International speaker and workplace motivation expert Susan Miller has energized audiences for over a decade in forty-one states and six countries, from Akron (Ohio) to Auckland (New Zealand).
With two masters degrees and a "B.A. in Burnout," Susan connects with her audience using humorous stories from her background in education and government and her experience as a teacher, small business owner, city government manager and one-time-only bungee jumper!
Susan addresses thousands of people annually at seminars, corporate meetings and conventions. She has spoken throughout Australia on five separate speaking tours "down under" and in all ten Canadian provinces.
Susan's first book, Oomph Power! How to Get Re-Energized for Outrageous Success was published in 2003 and re-printed in 2006.
Susan's second book, STAY Positive...No Matter What! The Top 40 Ways to Work and Live in The Positive Zone® was published June, 2009.
A native of Evanston, Illinois, Susan holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Education and Theatre from Indiana University, a
Master of Arts degree in Education and a Master of Science
degree in Library Science from Spalding University.
For over sixteen years, Susan has spent every Saturday afternoon
with a group of kids who live in Louisville’s public housing
projects. Susan started the “Saturday Club” to provide
mentoring, encouragement and fun for “at-risk” kids, grades
4-12.
A professional member of the National Speakers Association,
Susan has a home, husband and dog in Prospect, Kentucky; but
mostly lives in airports!
