Stage Requirements Checklist for Susan
Miller
This checklist will optimize the impact of Susan’s
presentation. Thank you!
- RISER: Please provide a small riser if the room is
long and narrow, or if the audience headcount exceeds 75. The platform
should be set no farther than 6 feet from the first row of chairs.
- TABLE: Small table on stage to
hold Susan's props.
- MICROPHONE: Cordless handheld for keynotes.
Cordless lavalier (clip-on) for seminars.
- VISUAL AIDS: LCD
projector, laptop and screen.
- LIGHTING: Room as fully lit as possible, especially
the stage area.
- AUTOGRAPH TABLE: 6 ft table at the rear of the
room.
With your permission, Susan will have copies of her book,
Oomph Power! How
to Get Re-Energized for Outrageous Success available for
purchase at a special sale price after her presentation. Or we will be happy to discuss incorporating her book into
the cost of the meeting so every participant receives one.
- ADDITIONAL SETUP TIPS:
- Setup the room so the seats are toward the front
and close together. If your room is larger than needed, the staff will
be inclined to fill the room by spreading the chairs or tables
throughout the room. This creates a vacuum and destroys the energy in
the room. Instead, fill the front of the room and leave the back of the
room empty.
- Stagger the chairs. By arranging the chairs so
that each seat is between the two in front if it, people won’t have
their views obstructed by those seated in front of them.
